Help people achieve their full potential

That is our mission. For colleges and universities, we do it as an Enhanced Tutoring Department, making academic support easy for students to reach, and easy for campus teams to run.

Why we started

Nimbus began with students. We watched classmates reach out for help and run into obstacles: finding a tutor, booking a time, paying for a session, all on top of a full workload.

When we met the people running those services, we found dedicated teams spending hours every day on repetitive work. Matching students with tutors by email. Recruiting tutors each term. Tracking hours and timesheets.

So we built one place for all of it, and a team to help run it. Since 2019 we have worked with colleges, universities, and student unions in Canada, the US, and France.

What we value

How we work with partners, students, and each other.

  • Relentless
  • Diligent
  • Client-Centric
  • Compassionate
  • Critical Thinkers
  • Easier access for students

Every program in one app, so students see what is available, book in a few taps, and give feedback.

  • Time back for staff

Less time on scheduling, recruiting, and timesheets. More time for the students and tutors in your program.

  • People behind the platform

We believe in keeping the human element in technology. Partners work with our team, not a ticket queue.
